Double entendre Wirtting

Mary Jane’s Last Dance By Tom Petty

Thought the song ‘’Mary Jane’’ written by Tom Petty, utilizes double entendre by portraying, ‘’the last dance with Mary Jane, one more time to kill the pain’’ showing that he is relaxed with her and that the pain goes away. To say that he doesn’t feel pain when they dance together.’ ’ Honey put on that party dress’’ Lets go have a goodtime and have fun and forget your worries. To let loose for just one night. ‘’buy me a drink, sing me a song, take me as I come cause I can’t stay long’’ The experience with him will never get better than this. That he is the best thing that ever happened to her. I won’t be around for long. The boy is going to leave her and they will never see each other again.

                                                  Animal Planet By GZA

The framework constructed to this allegory of lessons thought the song that are experienced are how to survive in the wild with other animals with you,  ‘’Its like the jungle sometimes’’ comparing it to real life and how we as humans survive. Seeing the prospective of a animal.  ‘’ you see the vultures pick the pocket of whatever remain, Conveying we get what he get and to just be going forward. That have to hunt and kill food to live. ‘’So some lose they lives wondering on the wrong turf’’ you go feed at the wrong place that the animal will kill you. Just like when a human makes someone upset we fight to prove our point. To get justice. ‘’Its like the jungle sometimes’’ you have to be ready for what happens and know how to protect you and your surroundings.

                                            Right in two By Rush

Frame working the structural idea in this song shows life and death situations by displaying,’’ they re bound to divide it right in two’’ They will all come together. That fighting is not always the answer to problems .’’Angles on the sideline’’ They will guide us and help us though this awful time in this life. To not be afraid to divide and conquer our fears and differences and come together as one
